My practice/experience as a curator has been guided by the question of the intersection of ways of working with contemporary art, namely using available (digital) technologies. For example, on “I’m yours, sincerely” a performance where the e-mail exchange between the performer Alice Joana Gonçalves and the participant is a starting point to develop photography series, books, videos, and online performances. “ARS PARK – Augmented Reality Sculpture Park” is another curatorial project that I’m working on which discuss the public space through the artist's interpretations taking the city political, social, cultural as starting points to develop their artworks and create audience cognizance. It will be premier in 2018 at Torres Vedras, a medium size city, in Lisbon district, Portugal. For it, I’m developing an app with a specialized team — a 3D designer, an app developer, and a sound designer — where the user can have a completely immersive experience viewing augmented large-scale sculptures in the city through their mobile devices. These sculptures can be animated and have sound. The city will equally have its own ambient sound made by a sound artist. I am also linked to the research of alternative ways of displaying art, where I discover myself developing an art gallery project, Guerrilla Gallery, which is intended to differentiate by the approach to the medium.The themes with which I have been working, cross the relationship between contemporary art, science and technology - linked by the concept of relational aesthetics of Nicolas Bourriaud (2009) where intersubjective meetings are promoted.With my work, I assume as main objective the contribution to the innovation of curatorial practices and methodologies.
