I'm working on the CarbonFirst project (www.carbonfirst.org), which aims to decarbonize cloud and edge computing by virtualizing the energy system to give applications visibility and control over their energy consumption and carbon footprint.

As a student worker at the computer lab in the college of business, my duties involved assisting students with any trouble they had with printing their documents or with any of the software installed in the workstations. I also helped troubleshoot and repair any malfunctioning computers, as well as give routine maintenance to all computers in the lab. In addition, we had the task of managing the computers and projectors in the classrooms according to the set class schedule.

I worked in the storage room of the undergraduate physics teaching lab. My duties there included organizing and keeping inventory of the lab equipment, troubleshooting any devices that weren't working as expected and help my supervisor with ordering any new equipment needed. I also assisted with organizing the semester’s class schedule along with the Teaching Assistants and helped with the lectures in several occasions.
