The mission of the Land Product Validation (LPV) subgroup of the Comitee on Earth Observacion Satellites (CEOS) Working Group on Calibration and Validation is to coordinate the quantitative validation of satellite-derived products. The focus lies on standardized intercomparison and validation across products from different satellite, algorithms, and agency sources. My main contributions to the CEOS LPV are the participation in the comunity-agreed surface albedo validation protocol and the development of an standarized validation operational system for surface albedo products (SALVAL online tool).

▪ CTO Since early 2014, in charge of the technical managing and processing within the laboratory, mainly for Quality Assessment and machine learning algorithms. ▪ Participation in a number of European Projects: Copernicus Global Land Service, Copernicus Climate Change Service, FP7 Imagines, ESA VALSE-2, FP7 Geoland2, EUMETSAT LSA SAF. Project Manager of Copernicus Global Land Service activities and Team leader of validation tasks.▪ Remote Sensing data processing, Quality Assessment and Quality Monitoring of Earth observation products.▪ Earth Observation Algorithm design (machine learning, empirical algorithms, neural networks).▪ Participation in field campaigns. Ground data analysis and processing▪ Director of 6 Master thesis. Tutor of more than 10 students coming from internship programs in collaboration with University of Valencia, Polytechnic University of Valencia and international programs.
