About Jorge Tubella
I am driven by emerging technologies and innovation, and I have made it my mission to help the construction industry tackle its most pressing challenge: a dwindling workforce in the face of increased demand. By leveraging the latest technologies and developing new methods and processes, I'm confident that we can transform the industry and enable our workforce for the future of construction. With a diverse skill set that includes innovation, project/product/change management, and strategy, I'm eager to lead transformational change in the industry. As the former coordinator of the Robotics and Digital Fabrication lab that I helped establish during my time at Florida International University, I managed a small team and conducted research including rapid prototyping of devices, robotics programming, custom end-of-arm tooling for robotic arms, and virtual reality training simulations for the AEC industry. In my current role, I focus on emerging technologies that can benefit the construction industry and coordinate innovation efforts to help the industry. Some of my recent accomplishments include developing payload mounts for sensors on robots, leading the development of a new remote pneumatic pressure testing device, and coordinating the first Metaverse event for our company. As an industry thought leader, I regularly speak at conferences and participate in podcasts to share my insights on innovation and technology in construction.I'm passionate about working with like-minded individuals and organizations to create a brighter future for the construction industry. Let's connect and explore how we can collaborate to drive change and innovation in the industry.
