My name is Jorge Valero, I am an architect graduated in 2012, and I have 12 years of experience in the construction field. I am a 36-year-old Mexican passionate about how construction transforms into art. I strive to provide solutions to real problems, standing out for my leadership, humility, determination, and efficiency.I began my professional career as a draftsman of construction plans at a company specializing in environmental technology solutions. Later, I was promoted to assistant project manager.A year later, I was offered a position as a supervisor at a road and bridge construction company, where I worked for nearly a year before being promoted to department leader.With the desire to step out of my comfort zone and continue growing, in December 2014 I decided to leave the company to pursue my professional goal: gaining international experience as an architect. I was open to working as an apprentice.In May 2015, I did an internship in Madrid, Spain, with Ensamble Studio and Professor Anton-García-Abril from MIT. I worked on an experimental structure using a modular prefabricated metal system, overseeing the roof modules and reticular beams. Unable to process my work visa, I had to return to Mexico when my tourist stay expired.In 2016, I worked as a department head at a company building restaurants in Mexico and the United States.Since 2018, I have run my own construction company and am currently developing projects in the Riviera Maya.Although my experience is not limited to design, both my education and professional career have focused on the creative and effective implementation of solutions.
