I am a research scientist with more than 10 years of experience in molecular and cell biology that enjoys understanding and visualizing what happens inside the cell. I have worked on bacteria, yeast, cell culture and animal models to study cell biology mechanisms that include: regulation of membrane protein trafficking, histone post-translational modifications/interactions, starvation stress in plasma membrane protein composition, and temperature-dependent membrane phase separation of lipid rafts. I am also driven by a desire to distill the "difficult-to-understand" biological mechanisms for non-experts.
