As Associate Editor for EBONY magazine I was responsible for developing, researching and writing in-book copy for the publication's RADAR (entertainment/FOB) section and feature well. As such, I wrote stories ranging from one to eight pages and frequently interviewed and communicated with high-profile figures and their representation.ed I also support senior editorial staff with tasks ranging from the completion of expense reports to acting as liaison between them and various other organizational departments, freelance writers, photographers, designers, etc.

As editorial intern for N'Digo magazine I researched and wrote stories which ran in the weekly, local magazine. I directly reported to the editor-in-chief and assisted her in the completion of various administrative tasks.

As an intern for NPR I monitored various newswires and outlets in order to develop story ideas. I also conducted interviews, wrote scripts for various on-air talent, edited audio and performed various administrative duties including photocopying, faxing and filing.
