My husband and I chose to take a yearlong adventure in March 2021 and voluntarily left our jobs in Chicago to pursue some of our biggest passions. We are loving spending our time with family, working on personal and developmental goals, and going on as many outdoor adventures as possible. We always dreamed of doing this, and can happily report that it has been a great decision.Some of our proudest moments have included:• skied our legs off at 17 different resorts while traveling 13,000 miles in a van• became a scuba divemaster in Cozumel, Mexico• backpacked Europe with only a personal-item-sized bag, visiting 7 countries• volunteered with a non-profit in Ghana• packrafted 45 miles on the Green River on a paddleboard• tried to improve my surfing at 12 surf beaches. • reminded our parents why they were relieved when we moved away to college
