Humana Long Term Care oversees care for the State of Florida's Medicaid Long Term Care Managed Care Program.Duties Included: Hire, manage, train, mentor, coach, and assess 14 care managers and support staff covering six counties and hundreds of members enrolled in the Florida Medicaid Long Term Care Managed Care program. Monitor and direct compliance per state contract. Monitor and report productivity and compliance to corporate leadership. Monitor and adjust process flow at the branch level to optimize productivity. Partner with provider relations and nursing assessment to ensure program members receive necessary care in accordance with program guidelines. Provide clinical assessment of and care oversight/case management for members at the skilled nursing level of care. Engage in community outreach per corporate policy to maintain relations and communicate more effectively with other federal, state, local and lead agencies. Partner with providers, nursing facilities, billing and claims to troubleshoot current claims in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare and present branch training on monthly topics as well as when dictated by branch need/request.
