Reporting to the EMEA Logistics Director I am facilitating this role for 5 European warehouses: - Identify saving opportunities to improve efficiency by optimizing process standardization and eliminating waste. - Coordinate customer requests and to anchor consequent process changes.- Identify common projects, investments, synergies, replication of project and best practices.

- Overall P/L responsibility for the business areas warehousing, Value Added Services and packaging.- Coach a diver’s team of highly skilled supply chain & operational experts.- Manage the overall operational objectives in quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.- Project management office, including budget & investment plan management.- Coordinate the business support systems in close cooperation with strategic IT service providers.- Procurement manager for diver’s warehouse supplies (e.g. packaging mat.) and infrastructure (e.g. rolling equipment, racking, …).Key operational figures:- 55.000 m² warehousing facility and yearly revenue approx. 55 M€ revenue.- approx. 350 people working in 3 shift operation.- multi-client operation generating 25.000 OL per day shipped to 150 countries.This operation is awarded with different awards like e.g. most employee friendly company in Flanders (’04) and best Logistics Service Provider in Belgium (’11).

Business Development & Sales Manager, SKF 02/’01–06/’06 I successfully managed the business strategy (define go-to-market strategy and implementation process) and positioned SKF LS as 3 PL in the industrial market place. Tasks: - Facilitated a change process from an internal to an external service provider. - Manage the business development & sales process until contract signing. - Ensure the role of Key Account for the major industrial accounts. - Define and execute marketing plan. - Monitor and analyze market trends and developed a value curve for SKF LS (Blue Ocean Strategy) as input to the marketing plan.

The Gates Rubber Company, subsidiary of Tomkins PLC, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of rubber power transmission components, hoses and related products both for industrial and automotive market segment.Based in the European headquarter, and working with a multinational team of sales assistants and application engineers, I was responsible for the industrial power transmission sales in the Benelux. The combination of both OE customers (e.g. CNH, Atlas Copco, Picanol, OCE, Xerox) and the after market via international distributors (e.g. Eriks, Brammer) required a creative sales approach.
