As a freelance machine learning engineer, I specialise in helping organisations develop and deploy AI solutions. Projects I have worked on include: - Working with unstructured text data to optimise the output of generative AI models. - Implementation of advanced graphical neural networks for recognising stickman actions on a custom dataset. - Compressing neural networks.

As a co-founder & CTO of DuckDuckGoose, I built the deepfake detection product. Starting from 0, I built the first version of the product and took care of deployment and maintenance. When the team grew, I was responsible for the technical progress as the team lead.Among others, I worked on the following:- Development of the deepfake detection product in PyTorch.- Extending the product to include synthetic video and audio detection in PyTorch.- Creating datasets for the above items.- Deploying the product using containers and pipelines.- Setting up the API in AWS.- Maintaining the API in AWS.

At SURF, I have carried out the following activities, among others:- Fundamental research on cancer detection using segmentation models.- Fundamental research on synthesizing molecules using transformer models.- Writing scientific publications.At SURF I have strongly developed my machine-learning skills. I am proud to have published two papers in two years.

At BIT students, I performed the following tasks, among others:- Machine learning projects with image and audio using PyTorch.- Machine learning projects with tabular data using PyTorch.- The above was done for clients such as Randstad, ING, Eneco, and RTL.At BIT I laid the foundation for the rest of my career and learned a lot in the field of clean code, code in production, Git and agile working.
