As a chairman I am responsible for leading the board of the study association. This board, consisting of seven members, are supervising more than 50 activities which are organized by 22 committees.Aureus is with 4000 members and 150 active members one of the biggest study associations of the Netherlands.

Together with a Unilever trainee responsible for recruiting talented students during recruitment activities at VU University or University of Amsterdam. As a CMA you are also responsible for budget control.

This project is focused on minimizing the gap for first-generation students between highschool and university. One of the ideas that become implemented this year is the introduction of buddies. Those budies are students who are already familiar with the environment of the university and in this way they can provide the new students with help and support.

Dialoog@VU is a student platform that organizes activities in order to improve the integration between the different groups of students.

In november 2010 the Amsterdam Academic Conference Committee organized the eight edition of this prestigious event. During the year of organizing I was responsible for the acquisition of key-note speakers and the support of the Chairman.

This committee is organizing a career-event for marketingstudents from the Vrije Universiteit and the Universiteit van Amsterdam.The members of the committee are aquiring guest speakers and (international) companies with interests in this field.

With this committee we are organizing several smaller events for exchange students from all over the world who are studying for six months at the Vrije Universiteit. I'm responsible for the budget.

The internal project I'm working on includes re-designing the process of license apllications.
