Science is incredibly important in today's society, but for it have a positive impact we need to continue to understand its potential as well as its limitations, and ensure research is conducted in a reliable, honest, independent and impartial way. Publishers make important contributions to research integrity through the editorial process, peer review, building and maintaining a permanent record of scholarly information, and ensuring that the publication process is transparent, predictable, correctible, and accountable. As Director of Research Integrity, I work on various programs improving these aspects of academic publishing.

We received an investment from Digital Science, and established partnerships with several leading publishers, academic libraries and societies.

Writefull, part of Digital Science, is automated proofreading for science based on the latest AI and NLP technologies.

Piloting the application of blockchain technology to make peer review better recognized, more efficient, and more transparent. Scirus was the largest search engine dedicated to scientific content. Leading the team, improving the engine, and innovating on top of that.

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. As (senior) product manager, responsible for its content (strategy and implementation). Inception and launch of the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board. Part of a great team from the very beginnings.
