Ten years ago, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Ultimaker for a week and use a 3D printer for the first time. I vividly remember watching as the printer laid down a thin line of plastic; from that moment, I was hooked on the technology.During my Industrial Design studies, I started modifying and building 3D printers to expand their capabilities. One of my projects was a 3D printer that prints silicone suspended in a gel, a technique known as Rapid Liquid Printing (RLP) developed by MIT’s Self-Assembly Lab.After graduation, I joined Vertico, a start-up specializing in 3D concrete printing, where I contributed to the development of their 3D concrete printer. With Dark Matter Design, I aim to apply my knowledge to a broader range of projects and push the boundaries of digital manufacturing. I believe that the best results come from a hands-on, exploratory approach. I’m excited about the potential collaborations and look forward to working with you!
