I started working for Flowable (at that time, edorasware) in the backend team of the product development branch. Currently I am a Solutions Architect working in several projects for international customers (mostly banks and fintech companies). Also, I am a [matrix manager](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matrix_management) of consultants and developers working for different projects. Our projects are typically Java/Spring/React, including integrations with Kafka and Elasticsearch and deployments in different Cloud providers. I regularly collaborate with the sales department in pre-sales sessions and PoCs.

I worked as a freelance IT architect for the Architecture Department of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO, formerly OHIM). I was involved in several projects at the same time. The most relevant one was the “New OHIM Website”. The project was a complete reengineering of the Office e-Filing applications and the main web portal. Also, I participated in the OHIM’s academy project (Moodle based), Case Law Database and the European “Orphan Works” database I was in charge of producing architecture design documents and the communication with the projects in order to apply the design decisions. My involvement also included hands-on work with the development team.

Xàbia’s city hall systems required a series of integrations with third-party applications. Most of them were SOAP web services that required certificate based security (WSS). The solution to integrate the legacy systems with the third-party applications was to use an open source Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The ESB transforms the messages and does the WSS related work. I designed and implemented the ESB solution with WSO2 ESB, Java and Web Services Security (WSS).

My career in everis (now NTT Data) started as Senior .Net developer. I switched to Java in my second project there. In 2010 I was already working as a Java Architect and in 2011 I got my Oracle Java EE certification. At that time I was also in charge or coordinating the work of development teams. During all the time working for everis I participated in pre-sales activities in collaboration with the management team.

Alfa Desarrollo was a small company with a development department and several products based in Microsoft technologies (VB, SQL Server, etc.). My role in the company was "Analyst/developer" but I did a lot of things: IT, Sysadmin, Comms, Pre-sales... It was a great learning experience. We did a lot of things with very few resources.
