Manager of a team of sixteen Inventory Control clerks across three shifts for a building that processes over $4 billion weekly in pharmaceuticals. Responsible for reporting on daily adjustments at the NDC, late vendor deliveries, house damages, and various other metrics. Provide support to our forward distribution centers by monitoring our NDC CARE email box and providing timely responses to any issues reported. Working with operations management to reduce in house damages, including a 30% decrease from FY22 to FY23. Instituted an associate quality program to improve accuracy in receiving and on outbound shipments, helping to ensure “right the first time” delivery to our forward distribution centers.

Management of divisional Service Level through cooperation with our buyers, customer CARE, sales team, and distribution center operations. Daily review and analysis of customer omit reports and working through the proper channels to resolve. Coordinating with distribution center operations and vendors to improve inbound efficiency. Providing timely responses to Customer CARE requests which ensure we are meeting service level agreements. Collaborating with divisional inventory teams to reduce the amount of slow-moving and dead inventory in the distribution centers. Working directly with large, strategic customers such as Humana and Kaiser to ensure their specific stocking needs are being met.

Supported the launch of the National Distribution Center. Worked with the National Replenishment Center, vendors, and forwards divisions to ensure accurate and timely transfer of product. Communicated with vendors regarding overages, shortages, and damages and worked with them to improve accuracy on future deliveries. Addressed inventory discrepancies in an effort to achieve perfect shipping to our forward divisions. Identified associate errors which lead to incorrect shipments and helped to implement corrective action. Assisted in creating new reports to help track metrics.
