I did my master's thesis (TFM) in this center implementing a procedure to facilitate the adjustment of parameters of the neural model "Adaptive and Exponential Integration and Fire (aEIF)" to simulate the complex dynamics of the granular cells of the cerebellum. It is based on statistical analysis and curve fitting techniques that consider the minimization of the quadratic error with respect to multiple data sets generated by a complex system of Hodgkin-Huxley differential equations. The specific choice of parameter values is validated by analyzing the trajectory of the aEIF model in the phase plane.I worked together with a multidisciplinary team at the Basque Center for Pure and Applied Mathematics (BCAM) and the results were published at the 29th Congress of Computational Neuroscience
