Working as an associate in the PD Network. Projects include:Supporting the rapid establishment of a new governmental arms-length body. Responsible for the development of a dynamic operating model and multifunctional team design, setting out the capabilities, approach and principles required to establish an MVP service. Part of a small team deployed to assess the operational and technological capabilities of a quasi-governmental organisation in delivering a major, complex technology transition. This involved a rapid review of the programme and team, to provide strategic and operational advice to Central Gov.

Leading the strategic design and implementation of the platform and products for Our Future Health. The project will establish a 5-million person volunteer cohort enabling the support of research intended to improve the early detection of chronic diseases in individuals. The pioneering programme is unparalleled - in the UK and globally - in its attempt to tackle the challenge of early diagnosis of diseases.

In November 2018 the Department for Education awarded £79m to a consortium of organisations; Raspberry Pi Foundation, STEM Learning and British Computing Society to establish the National Centre for Computing Education with the remit to improve the teaching of computer science and Computing in schools in England. I was tasked with preparing the organisation for this sizable piece of work. Working closely with the Director of Digital Product and Chief Learning Officer, I was focussed specifically on:- Representing RPF at the highest level within the consortium and to the Department for Education- Financial management, developing working budgets and working with the Head of Finance to set up reporting processes.- Contract negotiations with the lead organisation and sub-contracting organisations (University of Cambridge and FutureLearn), supported by RPF legal counsel.- Recruitment design and supporting the process of placing interim and permanent roles- Platform development planning, mapping dependencies between organisations and developing a technology roadmap.- Working to build good relations between consortium leads, to support a harmonious working practice.During my time at RPF I was a member of the leadership team, and in Q4 2018 worked with the Managing Director to introduce of an OKR-style system for driving productivity, and enabling cross-functional teams to work more effectively and autonomously.

Working with the team at Sensible Object, to support the development of healthy organisational culture, team development and management, rapid recruitment of key hires, and systems and processes to support a fast-growing team and optimise productivity. This was a 4 month assignment, as the incoming COO completed notice period elsewhere.

Consulted with Tech Will Save Us to conduct a business intelligence review of performance of 2016. Joined the team, on a part-time basis to focus on:- Key role in the senior management team, leading and contributing to strategic planning.- Developed business critical KPIs, with clear accountability and weekly reporting- Responsible for improvements to New Product Development process- Responsible for optimising team effectiveness: established agile working processes across the business, and put in place a revised team shape to support clear commercial goals.- Overhaul of recruitment process, and responsible for 15 new hires, with a focus on building a world-class software development team to support product development roadmap. - Responsible for org culture and HR, including performance reviews, salary benchmarking, and implementing visible paths for individual development. - Worked closely with Head of Marketing to deliver full product range to Amazon pre-Christmas 2017.- Worked closely with finance to set up US office and improved benefits for US & UK staff, which was part of a drive to improve organisational culture and team retention. - Responsible for IP and design protections, GDPR compliance, and other legal requirements/needs. - Line management and personal development of key product and operations roles.

Doteveryone was formed in 2015 by Baroness Martha Lane Fox. I was involved in the initial formation and set up of the charity. - Responsible for the merger of Go On UK and Doteveryone, establishing new charitable objects, putting in place effective governance, and initiating the recruitment process for a board of trustees.- Operational set up: financial and legal operations, office space, facilities, staff benefits, recruitment process etc. - Supporting the CEO with organisational aspect of fundraising initiatives, and events.- Financial management, cashflow forecasting, devising and overseeing project budgets.

Makielab was a technology business at the forefront of toys and games development, inventing new technologies to bring customisable, made-on-demand products to market. Makielab was sold to Disney in 2016. Key achievements:- Launched the world's first toy-safe 3D printed toy to the global market- Invention of a patented software platform to enable kids to design their own toys- Raised £3m+ in venture and angel capital over 5 years- Products were award-winning: Dad's Choice winner 2013, Toy Shop UK Commendation 2013, Top Toy Winner 2013 & 2014, Creative Play Award 2014.- Thousands of toys sold in retail and D2C to customers around the world. - Deployed in-store play hubs in Selfridges London and Fantasy World, Kuwait. - Launched 3 iOS apps and achieved top 5 status in the kids apps.- Spotlight in Britain is Great Campaign, in New York, presented custom Makies to HRH Prince Harry & Prime Minister David Cameron.

My work was global and attracted awards and recognition for its creative excellence, including a BAFTA and a Guardian Media Innovation Award, and Prix Jeunesse 2009.

During my time at Channel Four Education I exec produced digital projects with an annual budget of £4m. I led the delivery of large scale interactive projects in collaboration with third party production houses; games, mobile applications, websites and social media applications. I was responsible for stakeholder management, financial management, legal compliance and delivery.
