Graduated Master Mechanical Engineering, specialized in Vehicle Dynamics, Dynamics and Control, and Mechanical/Structural design. Currently I work at TNO Helmond in the Integrated Vehicle Safety research group, where I work on the development and implementation of active safety systems, advanced driver assistance systems and automated driving, for example platooning and automated valet parking.In the first years of the bachelor, my interrests for Vehicle Dynamics grew. For this reason I joined the race team: University Racing Eindhoven. Within this team I learned to approach problems from different perspectives. A year after I joined URE, I became part of the board of URE for one year. I was technical manager of the departments Chassis and Suspension. I was responsible for the techical components within these departments. Furthermore i was responsible for monitoring the progress of design, manufacturing and testing phase. Moreover, I was responsible for the suspension set-up of the vehicle. In this year, the vehicle 'URE 07' was designed, manufactured and tested. At the end of the year, we participated in the Formula Student in Hockenheim and Silverstone. In these races we became first on the SkidPad event, second on Acceleration and fourth overall in Formula Student Germany. I am very proud these results, which are a well-deserved reward after a year of hard work and dedication.During my master, I went to Canada for my internship. I researched the implementation of Extremum Seeking Control in a Model Predictive Control strategy. For this research, I investigated the stability proof of the control strategy and I implemented a minmax optimization approach for increased robustness. During my master thesis, I did research on Tire State Estimation. The main goal of this research is to develop a model-based Tyre State Estimator (TSE) for estimating the tyre forces using measured accelerations at the tyre inner liner.
