I helped launch innovative, industry-critical projects such as the Alliance for OpenUSD, Ultra Ethernet Consortium, LF Energy Standards & Specifications, Overture Maps Foundation, FINOS CDM, FinOps FOCUS, and many others which leverage the Joint Development Foundation and Community Specification governance modes for IP and due process. I lead a team of program managers and standards specialists who serve and support these project communities, enabling them to accelerate their work and innovate together.

I primarily served the Open Source Security Foundation and OpenJS Foundation, working across open source projects such as The Alpha Omega Project, Sigstore, Node.js, and others to drive strategic programs and day-to-day operations for maintainers, contributors and end-users. For neutrally held open source projects, I provided OSPO-like resources, services and strategic support in order to help these communities achieve their goals. I also led the LF program management team that drives open standards projects through the Joint Development Foundation. Projects in our remit include: Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity, Trust over IP, Green Software Foundation, Open19, Open Chain, GraphQL, and more.Highlights from my time in this role include executing the Open Source Software Security Summit II in Washington, DC and delivering the Open Source Software Security Mobilization Plan, launching an OpenJS supporter program (JavaScriptLandia.org), and educating developers on the Community Specification License.

In my role as VP of Standards for the Linux Foundation, I drive strategic program development and new project formation for the JDF, part of the LF family of projects.

I help people develop open engineering strategies & practices through consulting, training, program management and standards development. I have the privilege of working with some of the biggest and most-used open source and open standards projects, and with some of the most well-respected software non-profits including OASIS Open and the OpenJS Foundation. In 2018-19, I helped successfully transition the JS Foundation and Node Foundation Communities as these two organizations merged for form the OpenJS Foundation.
