Hi, I'm Jordan Zhang, a freshman at the IU Kelley School of Business studying finance and the Luddy School of Informatics studying data science. I am a driven and passionate individual with a love for leveraging technology to drive business insights. With experience in Python and full-stack web development (HTML, JS, CSS), I enjoy building websites for both personal and school projects. I have collaborated with various teams in case competitions held at IU and its clubs, where I have demonstrated my skills in teamwork and problem-solving.As the Assistant Head Coach at Stonebridge Sharks in North Potomac, MD, I oversaw the development of over 250 swimmers and coordinated team events such as fundraisers, swim meets, movie nights, and potlucks. Additionally, as the Sole Proprietor of MoCoTrading, I managed an eBay store with 1000+ inventory, achieving over $150k in sales, and maintained over 500 positive feedbacks as a highly ranked Power Seller. I am also the Worship Manager and Pianist at H20 Bible Church, where I work with team members to grow a young congregation and create a welcoming experience for guests.My goal is to combine my passion for data science and finance to work in DC, where I can create meaningful insights that impact a business or organization's decision making. I believe in the power of data-driven decision making and am excited to contribute to an organization that values this approach.When I'm not coding or working on a project, I enjoy reading books on behavioral economics, watching documentaries on technology, and spending time with my friends and family.
