Leading the Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Management Reporting teams for the Agricultural Supply Chain division of Cargill. Driving business growth by creating a seamless financial planning and analysis experience that integrates planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. Leading modernization, simplification and standardization and build new capabilities for the process of planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting while delivering day to day support to the business.

Overseeing business in Benelux/Germany/UK for Cargill's Agricultural Supply Chain division with following accountability:• Overseeing accounting processes that are managed and executed by other managers and accountants on the team;• Seeking and implementing consolidation opportunities across the business;• Identifying and implementing internal control systems that provide effective and efficient operations; reliable financial reporting; and compliance with laws, regulations and corporate policies;• Using advanced knowledge of business operations to ensure risks are identified and mitigated and ensure compliance;• Actively assist in leading the enterprise accounting and finance transformation. • Evaluating results and key financial measures, approve and reconcile more complex financial analyses. • Overseeing relationships with commercial, supply chain, and other business/product managers to ensure strategies are accomplished;• Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement directly and through subordinate managers and supervisors; also includes recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, and development of the finance team;• provides oversight to subordinate managers and supervisors in the selection of staff and other employees; determining resource needs, plans for future workforce and approves selection decisions;

Member of the organisation of the FSA Research Project Brazil (budget € 60.000). In this project 17 highly talented students performed financial economic research for Dutch companies in Brazil during the summer period June-August 2005. Main tasks:• Organised lectures for the participants (including language course, inviting guest speakers etc.).• Responsible for subsidy requests considering the project.• Acquisition of research assignments and creating research proposals.• Recruiting participants.• Leading a group of three students in Brazil in conducting interviews and writing a high quality report.• www.researchproject.org.Participant of the Research Project Brazil: Conducted financial economic research for a large Dutch chemical company by mapping the market potential for industrial biotechnology implementation in Brazil during a 5 week stay in Sao Paulo; interviewed 21 multinationals, government parties and institutes in Brazil. Afterwards a report was made and presented to the higher management of DSM.

Member of the organisation of the FSA Career Days which is a career event (presentations, workshops, dinners) meant to bring students and companies closer together. (Budget € 40.000) Main tasks:• As the treasurer of the project I was responsible for the expenses and the budget of the project• Responsible for the design of flyers, booklets and posters and implementation of the promotion campaign.• Inviting companies to present themselves at the Career Days through presentations, workshops etc.• www.beroependagen.nl
