I built up the AV section from scratch acquiring brands, building up personnel, and fill in the blanks for a full solution from design to after sales support. Going through the prospect’s needs and requirements for the AV product/services offered to develop the right solution for the client. I provided technical and administrative direction to guide AV project estimates/quotes to support the detailed scopes of work outlined in Proposals, RFIs, RFPs etc. including developing custom product solution. Going through building the AV experience, including mentoring junior AV engineer, conducting periodic training sessions for different levels of technical engineers, technicians and pre-sales force for maintaining a step ahead of the market to always perform a different end-solution to the AV market. This is accomplished by continuous hunting for the international shows and brands in search for new user interface, system design, and cost-effective solution.

I translate identified goals through all processes to produce working, maintainable, reproducible, documented, user friendly smart classrooms and learning systems. This is a unique position in CTMS requiring me to take personal responsibility to provide for continuous working smart classrooms. I directly maintain major systems and supervise the light maintenance of the smart classroom systems, and other CTMS teaching/learning equipment. I do research, identify and evaluate outside suppliers for technology components, repair and maintenance services as required. Primarily I interact with other CTMS staff. However, I perform a critical interface between other AUC departments such as Facilities and Services and Supply Chain Management. I work on-site as well as departmental offices and other work areas where needed. I usually, on daily basis, in contact with faculty, staff and administrators as service end-users as well as supervise the CTMS technical helpers.
