Seasoned Mechanical Engineer with rich experience in rapid prototyping for product design. Primary responsibility is leveraging data science techniques to test and perform feature selection/tuning on electromechanical prototypes. Expert in building ground-up data analytics pipelines, from experimental design through database management to report generation. Core techniques and tools used include:- Parametric Computer-aided Design (CAD)- Full-stack web applications (Angular.js) for interacting with databases/APIs, capturing data via remote sensors, and assembly line flow control- Data visualization- Automated analysis & reporting in scientific Python I am one of a small group of engineers in a startup environment, so in addition to my main role I also support the company in a variety of other ways. I create product-enabling analytics solutions, deliver presentations to external stakeholders, champion quality control documentation and safety testing, assist in mechanical component selection, and regularly contribute to engineering design reviews. I have a profound passion for using science as an exploratory tool, and revel in the pursuit of discovery and new knowledge.
