I am a PhD student at the University of Mannheim and work as a Researcher at the Unit for Environmental and Climate Economics at the Leibniz-Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW). My research focuses on the effects of climate policy on households and enterprises. To gain insights into these effects, I primarily rely on the econometric analysis of household and firm data.Before starting my PhD, I worked for two years as an analyst in the practice areas of energy and competition economics, contributing to studies on decarbonisation and gas market regulation and providing economic support on merger and cartel damage cases. Through my time there, I have been able to gather invaluable experiences, in particular a sense for structured project-based work, a solution-oriented approach to economic analysis and a focus on the effective communication of its results.I have studied Economics and Sociology at the University of Tübingen, the Moscow Higher School of Economics and the London School of Economics.
