Over the course of my eight week internship I got to dive into the finance and marketing departments at VARMA. VARMA is a dynamic and innovative business group with subsidies that dominate Spain´s spirits and home/personal care industries. During my internship I got to collaborate in departmental and company-wide budgets, the implementation of new CRM software, B2B distribution networks, and the planning of future marketing campaigns, among countless projects. Overall, it was an incredible opportunity where I developed a deep understanding of inter-departmental work, comprehensive business management skills, and the importance of dynamic business structures

As a Sales and Trading Intern at Inversiones Popular, I adeptly managed daily transactions, analyzed new clients, and facilitated the onboarding and offboarding of clients with the Dominican Stock Exchange. I also had the opportunity to shadow brokers, traders, and executives, gaining valuable exposure to client interactions and negotiations, while developing deep insights into financial market dynamics, particularly in the Dominican Republic. My time at Inversiones Popular was incredibly enriching and memorable, further encouraging my curiosity and interest in global markets.
