• Manage United Way’s education grants portfolio (54 grantees) and support our grantees to ensure their reports are up to date and meet deliverables set in the contract. • Assist with the organization’s Request For Proposal (RFP) process for the education portfolio.• Coordinate engagement and site visit opportunities between funders and grantees • Build & maintain relationships with key contacts at each of the organizations that United Way currently funds.• Maintain regular communication with United Way’s grantees and share relevant information about resources and other partnerships offered by United Way, and to involve them in events and campaigns related to our education work.• Organize capacity building of grantees, particularly those involved in United Way’s education policy and engagement strategy. • Plan two convening’s per year with education grantees. • Read, analyze RFPs and recommend potential grantees to Director of Education• Manage and track relevant data from grantee reports to: 1) inform our strategies and goals, and 2) resulting from our initiatives. This data will support the organization’s fundraising efforts by articulating our impact via meaningful real-time impact statistics and stories at the end of each quarter, at minimum, and providing content support for the creation of collateral and presentations.• Completed a 3 day “Fundamentals of Effective Grantmaking” training at Southern California Grantmakers
