I have been with Jabil since October 2016 as a BT network engineer consultant and working with Global Network Operations (GNO) team in a staff augmentation position. I was later hired by Jabil in July of 2018 as a full-time senior network engineer on the Global Network Operations Team. Responsibilities included the remediation of the LAN and WLAN infrastructure for several locations globally. These networks implementation included new full campus Cisco LAN/WLAN network and WAN components.• Other responsibilities include working as the regional infrastructure delivery lead engineer for the US. Client: Global Manufacturing CompanyAs a consultant at BT Global Services, I was assigned to work with the Global Network Operations Team for a global manufacturing client to remediate the LAN and WLAN infrastructure for several locations globally. These networks implementation included new full campus Cisco LAN/WLAN network and WAN components.▪ Preliminary design, staged, configured, tested, and implemented a Cisco Campus LAN/WLAN to remediate an existing HP LAN Network at a Divisional Headquarters campus which consisted of several Buildings and 2 data centers in Clinton, MA▪ Staged, implemented, and migrated several sites in the Americas from an HP LAN Network to a Cisco LAN / WLAN Network.▪ Implemented a Campus Wireless Network for several sites with Cisco APs and Wireless LAN Controllers. Location requirement varied from:Client: Mid-Sized Bio Pharmaceutical CompanyAs a consultant at BT Global Services known formally as BT/INS, I was assigned to a team at a midsize pharmaceutical client to implement a full network of a new site from the ground up. This network implementation included a new data center, full campus Cisco LAN/WAN, full WLAN network and VoIP components.▪ Staged, configured, tested, and implemented a new Headquarters campus which consisted of 2 Buildings and one data center in Weston MA• Implemented a Data Center with Nexus 7K and 5K Cisco switches• Implemented a Cisco Campus LAN Network to Support Data, VoIP and WLAN• Implemented a Campus Wireless Network with Cisco APs and Wireless LAN Controllers • Trained the Network Operations Team on the new Headquarters Cisco Campus Network• Configuration of new HP 7000 Blade Server Enclosures with Cisco 3120X switches• Configured F5 Load balancer requirements for servers.• Worked with Security Team on DMZ Server requirements for Load Balancing and Switch VLAN and routing requirements.

As the Network Operations Manager at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, I was responsible for maintaining the data network around the world. Responsibilities included managing the Network Operations team of 4 network engineers, and 3 junior network engineers.• Responsibilities included managing a global data network which consists of a Core Backbone between 2 data centers in Braintree Massachusetts and Houston Texas, Corporate Headquarters in White Plains New York, Satellite data center in Phoenix Arizona and Starwood Vacation Ownership in Orlando Florida.• In addition to the Core Backbone, I was also responsible for managing and maintaining the WAN connections for the Starwood Hotels properties which consist of 3 vendors managed MPLS Network from AT&T, Orange, and SingTel and 1 non-managed MPLS WAN from AT&T. In addition to the MPLS WANs, we manage a global IPSEC WAN with hubs in Braintree MA, Houston TX, London, and Singapore.• In addition to the Core and the property WANs, I was also responsible for overseeing 3rd Party IPSEC Connections into the Starwood network as well as Client VPN connections not only for 3rd party vendors but for all corporate users within the Starwood Hotels and Resorts footprint.• Additional work I was responsible for overseeing with my team, included Firewall rule requests, Load Balancing configurations, DNS requests, IP addressing maintenance and implementation of property WAN connections on to the Starwood Network. • Managed the relationship between vendors and Network Operations with HP, IBM, AT&T, Orange Business Services and SingTel. • Worked with Starwood help desk management and AT&T to streamline and improve the escalation process for AT&T’s EVPN MPLS Network.• Responsible for network problem management and timely resolution of network incidents.

As a Senior IT Manager at Polaroid Corporation, I was responsible for the voice and data network in Massachusetts and the data network around the world. Responsibilities included managing the Network Operations team of two network engineers, four junior analysts and one voice analyst.• Designed and implemented smaller data center, voice and data network for Polaroid Headquarters’ move to Concord, MA in Q4 of 2007. • Re-designed the DMZ/DR Network in 2007 moving the DMZ and DR from New Bedford to Concord.• In 2007, designed and implemented a new LAN for Polaroid Corporations parent company, Petters Group Worldwide in Minnetonka, MN• In addition to the LAN and WAN in Concord, my team implemented Cisco Wireless Access Point where the access was authenticated using a radius server pointing to Active Directory.• Worked on a team of 3 to implement and upgrade the DMZ firewalls in both the Waltham and Concord to PIX 525 firewalls.• Designed and implemented Polaroid’s new IP address architecture using RFC1918 and freed up Polaroid’s public class B IP address space for DMZ and data center use. • Designed and implemented campus LANs using Cisco three tier architecture core, distribution, and access. • In addition to the RFC1918 and Cisco three tier architecture, new OSPF areas were created on a site-by-site basis to segment the different sites into the own OSPF routing area.• Around 2004, upgraded the Data Center Switches from 5500 CAT OS to new 6513 IOS based switches• As a cost saving initiative, I designed and upgraded the WAN from a Frame Relay network to an IPSEC VPN WAN

While at HarvardNet, I implemented with an Engineering Team, an ATM Core Backbone consisting of multiple equipment such as a GSR 12012 router, BPX 8600 switches, MGX 8850, and 6400 UAC for DSL customers. The WAN links consisted of various speeds from DS3 through OC-12’s. I was the chief network designer for HarvardNets Web hosting Center. I also designed a high speed, fully redundant, world class data center network. I was responsible for the success and profitability for HarvardNet’s web hosting center. I developed standard operating procedures for maintaining and daily operation of the data center. My major accomplishment at HarvardNet was the design of the Charlestown collocation data center space. The design was developed around a three-tier switching architecture consisting of a Core, Distribution and Access layer using multiple 6500 switches and GigabitEthernet Links to GSR routers. Routing Consisted of BGP and OSPF as the IGP. In addition, I was part of third level escalations for problems on the HarvardNet’s DSL, ATM/IP Backbone and Web Hosting Center.

Responsible for day-to-day maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of Polaroid’s wide and local area networks consisting of an Ethernet network connected by Cisco 2500/3810/4500/7000/7500 series routers and 5000/5500 Catalyst switches and IGX 8410/8420 Multi-Service switches. Responsibilities included regular router and switch maintenance. Daily router maintenance included loading new IOS images, configuring routers for new sites and maintaining configuration files on a local TFTP server. Also, experience in configuring access-lists (ACLs) and troubleshooting TCP/IP, AppleTalk, IPX and DECNet routing and access-list problems. On-call support and 3rd level escalation for other network analyst on WAN/LAN related issues. Maintained and worked with FDDI rings, T1, T3, ISDN and Frame Relay circuits worldwide using Larscom T1 CSU/DSUs, Telco-System T3 Multiplexers. I Designed, implemented, and maintained voice and data wiring projects at several Polaroid Corporation sites throughout Massachusetts. I’m experienced working with different network wiring media and troubleshooting consisting of 10Base5, 10Base2, 10BaseT and 10BaseFL networks. I also used Network General’s Sniffer for troubleshooting Ethernet/protocol problems, Electrodata EZ-Tester II for T1/T3 problems and MicroTEST pentascanner for local 10BaseT wiring issues. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Virtual Privates Networks (VPN) using Shiva LanRover VPN Gateways and Gateway Express for Polaroid’s domestic and international customers. The VPN installations include LAN to LAN, PC to LAN and Cable Modem to LAN. In addition to VPN services as one of Polaroid’s remote access solutions, I was also responsible for Polaroid’s direct dial access solution using Shiva Access Switches and Axent Defender Security System.

I was responsible for Headquarters supply for the 187th Support Battalion and Technical Supply for the 323rd Maint. Co. (DS). Responsibilities include maintaining all computer systems and soldiers, working with my team in inputting data and running daily, weekly and monthly reports for the 323rd Maint. Co. (DS). Responsibilities also include maintaining an efficient operations warehouse and backup of all data. I also served as a platoon sergeant for the Technical Supply Platoon in my last two years with the 323rd Maint. Co. (DS). The platoon under my leadership consisted of three sections of approximately 40 soldiers and three staff sergeants.
