I’m a Control Systems Tech, my career as a communications Technician starting with the USAF and EG&G Automotive Research as an Instrument Technician III. I later transferred to EG&G Technical Services at Kelly AFB to gain more knowledge on technology like CNC, Electrical, High voltage, and Aero Space Industry as Senior Electrician. After EG&G sold the Technical Services to merge with Perkin Elmer, benefits changed, so I looked for other challenges, employment with better benefits. Southwestern Bell Telephone Co, at that time, hired me as a Special Services Systems Tech where I enhanced my Telecommunications technology knowledge. I worked in San Antonio, Dallas, and Zapata Texas where I took early retirement due to a death in the family and ill elderly parent. I moved back to San Antonio Texas to be closer to my mom and was hired by C&W Services as a Robotics Tech in San Marcos, Texas. I earned my Robotic III title and became the Lead Tech for FHN crew and now promoted to Control Systems Tech for the last eight months. C&W is the Maintenance Contractor for Amazon SAT2 in San Marcos, Texas. It’s a good place to work. They have the latest technology, I would love to have new challenges in my career in the same company or other employer.
