About Jose Ignacio Iturbide
He is most confortable in the design and execution of creative and efficient strategies for projects with the use of a systematic yet human approach to problem solving. He started his career as a junior project manager at Proyectos 9 where he was able to work in several areas of the design and execution of real estate projects, acquiring abilities that are applicable to most business environments. At MIRA, Jose was able to practice skills acquired during his MBA at IPADE, specially in finance, negotiation, management and salesteam management, when taking an important role on the development and leasing process of the shopping center at Nuevo Sur, the most successful mixed-use project in Monterrey at the time. After the lease-up of the shopping center, Jose moved to the residential business unit, where he was development manager of a 500-unit residential project within Nuevo Sur. Financial modelling, budget management, value engineering, sales analysis, financial management and overall project performance were among his main responsibilities, while also elaborating investment documents for future projects. In summer, 2016 he left MIRA and moved to Los Cabos, where he co-founded Escuadra, in order to pursue new real estate projects to develop in the area. He is currently in charge of the development for a residential project in San José del Cabo.
