Ran financial operations and played a key role in steep growth and value creation. Acquired for less than $20M, the company became the third largest solar developer in USA and was eventually sold for over $200M to SunEdison.Transformed the company’s financial operations and processes from start-up to publicly traded standards. Managed three of the first solar investment funds in the country, and implemented a fresh $200M tax equity fund and over $150M financing to finance future growth.

Led the accounting and tax department of a $2B gas liquefaction plant (LNG) in Egypt, a Joint Venture between Union Fenosa, ENI and Egyptian Oil & Gas companies, which was the world’s largest LNG train at that time. Enhanced finance operations and championed a strong control environment, with a remarkable increase in efficiency over accounting closings, audits and financial reporting.

Worked at the Chairman and CEO Offices of Union Fenosa, one of the largest utilities in Europe. Became an all-round expert on the energy policy and Transmission & Distribution business, providing advice and support to top executives on strategy and M&A. Produced Chairman and CEO presentations for media, investors and Board of Directors, and ran financial analysis on M&A transactions, including the €400M sale of transmission assets to REE, Spanish system operator.
