The first 10 years of professional career were in a large aluminum foundry (50.000 ton/year) in Venezuela. In that span, I obtained promotions and held positions from Foundry Process Engineer to Foundry Manager. These positions provided a continuous enriched development and experience in management skills, foundry technology, quality control, and customer-supplier relationship. Following the industrial experience, I had 8 years concentrated in the academic arena as a university professor and as a post graduate student obtaining M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. Extensive research, both academic and as a Research Assistant, led to several publications. I worked 9 years in Caterpillar, Inc. in United States and Mexico. One year in the Popular Republic of China in a large steel foundry (48.000 ton/year) as a Director in the Casting Technology Center. My activities were focused on research and development in casting technology, including heat treatment and welding technology, improving quality and operations in US foundries and worldwide. Three patents, 2 in USA and 1 in China, were presented and more publications were done in casting and heat treatment technology applications. Expert Certification by the PR of China. I worked as an entrepreneur in Venezuela from 2011 to August 2017. I have been working as Mathematics and Science teacher in QSI International School in El Tigre, Venezuela since August 2017.
