My main responsibility was to work with Cembell’s project managers, pressure vessel engineers, and material selection engineer to support the daily operations of the company. I analyzed design specifications of multiple pressure vessels and heat exchangers and performed weight analysis on their individual components to ensure they were safe to be moved via a cherry picker.Another responsibility was to calculate the hydrostatic forces on baffles within a heat exchanger and the loads experienced by horizontal baffle stiffeners. I also calculated loads and stresses under design specifications for a two-ton jig crane that was to be used in Cembell’s maintenance facility. Lastly, I provided assistance to Cembell’s project manager with document control and to the pressure vessel engineer during meetings with clients. I also worked to check the material inventory of the company.

Responsible for performing top-side vehicle maintenance, including changing oil and oil filters, air filters for both engines and interior air conditioning, and refilling important vehicle fluids for vehicles of different models and ages. I also assisted in training and leading new employees on basic vehicle maintenance and oil change procedures. (Summers Only)
