My role was to control the quality of the servers before they were shipped out. This included replacing and testing parts, running scripts, and sometimes manual configuration due to script failure. Another role was to assist the consolidation team in consolidating servers to have a full unit ready to be shipped. This increased output.

One of my roles at Amazon was to help delivery drivers load their trucks. This was very important because drivers wanted their trucks loaded in a certain way so they could know where to look for their packages. I firmly believed that even though tedious, this helped drivers come back to the delivery center on time. One day I took an extra shift and seeing the drivers come back on time instilled pride in my work.The other role I performed at Amazon was to scan packages after we were done helping the drivers. These packages were meant for Amazon Flex drivers and other contractors. This was important because it helped fulfill the promise of two-day delivery.

One of my roles was to scan packages coming out of trucks. Scanning was important in the building because if there are no scanners then packages cannot get processed on time or at all. I scanned from 1,000 to 2,500 packages a day while helping my unloader with heavy packages. Another one of my roles at FedEx Ground was to handle packages that could not go on conveyor belts. This was for any packages that exceeded the weight limit or were too big. This was a very important role because everyone avoided this role, no one wanted to deal with furniture, tires, and other heavy objects.

My role at Bloomfield College was as an IT Intern. This was a federal work-study position. I followed the Help Desk workers around campus and watched them do their duties. Eventually, they started entrusting me with more responsibilities and I started to learn about their duties.
