Hi! My name is Jose Ortiz, I graduated from California State Polytechnic Univeristy, Pomona with a bachelors in electrical engineering with a focus in power engineering. Some hobbies I enjoy are: running, playing sports, cats, game design, coding, studying, sleeping, video games, watching sports, and electronics! As a substation automation engineer, I play a key role in the execution of substation infrastructure replacement and other specialty projects in grid automation, resiliency and modernization, that are essential in enabling SCE’s delivery of safe, reliable, and clean power to customers!
