External Collaborator with the University of Monterrey (UDEM). Assist the University with the pre-planning, pre-construction, construction, and close out of a variety of projects the university is in need of. Currently a Project Manager of the Pre-Construction of a 7,000 m2 Cultural Plaza for the University of Monterrey. Involves the re-design of the Construction Plans to accommodate a 300 piece sculpture art piece from an Artist located in the London, Paris.

Assist three different PM´s during the procurement, Contractual management and deliverables. During the procurement, I assist with the initial contact of the consultants in order to identify that their services are in line with the bidding package. During the bid package I review their proposal to determine if they have identified all of the scope and schedule in order to elaborate a recommendation for the client to take its decision. During my support of the contractual management I assist with validating, the contracts elaborated consist of the scope of work, schedule propose, cost, etc. I also assist on validating the Estimations the consultants/architects are proposing. This goes in line with the communication with the PM´s to identify that their estimations are in line with their deliverables and validate to our client their proposed payments. Additionally tasks involve Documental Control using the PROCORE platform.

I contributed to daily on-site walks to identify any constraints and established a solution to discuss and resolve the potential issue with the third party engineer, architect, and owner as needed. This included verifying that the materials and systems were being installed according to the drawings and specifications. Communicating effectively with the PM of each of the Subcontractors to analyze and adjust their schedule work and man-power. Assisted the Superintendent with all of the architectural components. Conducted the Pre-Inspections and communicated with all trades involved to properly rough in the components prior to the final inspection with the Owner Representative, Engineer, and Architect. In charge of verifying and adjusting the QA/QC of the work in place performed by our Trade Partners. Responsible for all of the Fire-Stop & Life-Safety accommodations such as construction of all of the fire rated partitions, wall/floor penetrations, installations of fire rated doors, etc. This included a weekly fire-stop inspection with a 3rd party inspector to review the functionality and quality of the fire stops components by comparing them to the submitted designs and meet NFPA requirements.

Accountable of office and on-site responsivities. Provide help with the bidding process. Calls and communicates with other subcontractor about their scope of work in their proposed bids and assures arrival of their estimate at an acceptable time. Assist on the estimating process by providing the senior estimator with precise and accurate measurements and calculations of the scope of work on-site. Delegates the work and communicates with the subcontractors to assure the work is on schedule. Have acquire knowledge of the construction process and has aid with surveying specific elevations to properly place underground matter ranging from drainage to foundation systems.
