Operational support for tsunami relief and rehab program implemented by Diocesan partners in Tamil Nadu and southern Kerala. Supported implementation of Livelihoods rehabilitation, temporary and permanent housing for affected families. Supporting partner staff in devising strategies for subsidized microcredits to disaster affected families, Water and Sanitation promotion activities, and Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction and gender mainstreaming were core thematic areas of multi-dimensional relief and rehab program.
