• Managed testing and blending procedures that aided in new product development for PCMO (Passenger Car Motor Oils), HDEO (Heavy Duty Engine Oils) & SEO (Small Engine Oils) petroleum additives for Finished Lubricant Oils.• While multi-tasking with different projects, I was able to improve instrumentation efficiency as well as blending to meet tight deadlines for components needed for finished oils and customer pending requests.• Maintained and worked on trouble shooting/calibrating Lubrication Testing Equipment such as CCS (Cold-Cranking Simulator), HTHS (High Temperature High Shear), KV (Kinematic Viscometers), MRV (Mini Rotary Viscometer), NOACK (Volatility Tester), with habitual use of FTIR & NMR.• After undergoing training on the importance of quality assurance and heavily enforced safety culture, I was able to implement my own training with the new technicians of my team with daily reminders and feedback on how to keep the equipment in top shape as well as making sure we go home as safe as we came to work everyday. • By following these safety and quality procedures, I was able to become one of the technicians that assisted our Testing Laboratory to become ISO17025 accredited while being the primary contact for the follow up inspections in half of the testing equipment.• After demonstrating that I can handle multiple work requests under tight time constraints, I was promoted to the Stock Additive Controller for Linden to make sure our Component Inventory would run smoothly to allow Technology Programs to work in tandem with our global sites to meet heavy customer demands.• In a short time under the new role, I have worked on improvements to testing and qualification procedures that will cut costs in the technology field and potentially aid other departments in extra revenue for research purposes.

• Prepared and analyzed environmental samples for volatile organic compounds to test for contamination and quality.• Quickly picked up the instrumentation for a GC/MS with daily sample preparation in a wet chemistry environment that also worked with PH testing for quality assurance.• Maintained up-to-date data through Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Logbooks while keeping up with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and approved test method changes to provide the most accurate and precise results.• Within 3 months I was given control of 2 GC/MS equipment’s while taking over a 3rd as backup in case someone called out. This increase in workload allowed me to better multi task and handle rush testing for urgent customer basis with a tight deadline.
