-Assisted Scientists with blood sampling, tissues collection and dosing in mice and rat..-Management of multiple rodent breeding colonies, including, pregnancy checks, weaning, ear marking, record-keeping, and genotyping.-General husbandry of mouse and rat colonies including but not limited to cage changing and daily animal observations.

-Support Supervisor or Manager with husbandry and cage wash staff assignments ensuring that all scheduled work is completed.-Maintain the sentinel program including blood samples according to appropriate scheduled.-Place animals orders as needed and receive all orders into the system when received.-Assist with staff and research training as needed.

-Drug formulation of novel compounds for efficacy and dose response studies for oncology studies in xenograft models-Compound delivery by different routes of administration (IV, IP, PO)-Bleeding of rodents-Cell implantation and tumor implantation in mice, and tumor measurement and body weights of Nu/Nu and SCID mice in xenograft studies-Data entry in LabCat pertaining to all animal xenograft studies as well as Quality Control analysis of study data.

-Participated in rodent necropsy for safety studies.- Receiving and numbering incoming animals for tox studies-General husbandry of mouse and rat colonies including but not limited to cage changing and daily animal observations of standard animals as well as immunocompromised animals.-Autoclaving of all immunocompromised animal caging and equipment-Cleaning and maintenance of the animal facility

-Animal husbandry for both mice and rats to include cage changing, sanitizing, and autoclaving according to Biogen Idec SOPs in both ABL1 and ABL2 areas as well as quarantine areas.-Daily walkthroughs for health checks -Perform quarterly, semi-annual and annual facility tasks such as rotation and sanitizing of ventilated racks.
