I had three different roles in British Telecom Spain:As Project Engineer I took part in building BT Spanish Network. Afterwards I was Head of Maintenance of the Network´s Infrastructure and finally Procurement Manager (BT Licensed Manager) In all of them I performed above the standards and achieved every year best scores on the targets agreed.I am going to explain a bit further my duties related to Procurement activities:- Negotiation with Suppliers; I led the negotiation within my category in co-ordination with the Business and Operational Units, ensuring with BT Policies and following the established procedures- Maintenance and development of relationship with the Supplier base: I managed an adequate relationship with Suppliers, ensuring that the deliverables were the one agreed in the contract. I was the single point of contact with the Suppliers in terms of business and problem solving, obtaining good results when I got feedback of my performance from the internal customers. - Contract Management; responsible for producing the contract draft, with the support from Legal, Finance and Operational teams, to ensure it incorporates all the Terms & Conditions agreed. Follow up of the contract performance along its life cycle, assuring the compliance of the Supply or Service Level Agreement were met. - Reporting and Strategy alignment with the other Procurement Teams and Category Leaders within BT Group

I took part in the deployment of Amena GSM Network. We built Radio Base Stations both in roofs of buildings and on the ground and also the electric supply from network and other alternative energy sources (UPS, rectifiers with cells and emergency diesel generators)We were requested to deploy the network within very tight deadlines and, by working hard and smart (we standardized a metallic frame valid for most of the sites), we reached them with very little minor issues.

As Project Engineer my task was to design and control the electric works to provide power supply to the Radio Base stations as part of the mobile network. The scope was both Low and High electric supply, rectifiers and generators.Our success was to deploy a huge network with the required quality stardards in a very short time
