Managing a team of 8 to 16 developers while also being in the weeds writing code alongside them, I re-designed and built the organization's website from the ground up using a semi-headless Drupal 9 + Solr8 architecture with a modular ReactJS component approach, which resulted in a nearly 80% cost reduction and 60% faster page loads.The modular component approach allowed us to leverage fast paced frequent iterations for continuous development and automated integration, reducing human error by nearly 90% while at the same time expanding the range of developers who could jump on the project at a moment's notice due to the semi-headless architecture without necessarily being experts in Drupal or experts in ReactJS.

I was promoted from my web developer role in order to fill the need for Linux system administration, I kept the responsibilities of web development while expanding my job duties. I deployed dozens of RHEL and CentOS7 servers, both Virtual and physical servers, some as part of large storage and computer clusters. I deployed a 100Gbps Infiniband network for use with a cluster. Working with departments such as Genomics, Proteomics, Infectious Diseases and others, I gathered requirements and designed the specifications for high performance GPU computing server cluster nodes and was in charge of the projects from start to finish, from purchasing from a vendor or building in house to compiling dozens of applications from source and finally data center rack & stack.
