For three years I worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Parish Medical Center in Titusville, Florida, prior to my completion of my Graduate Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. After graduating I worked 2 years in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in Melbourne, Florida rounding at various hospitals in Brevard County. During that time I utilized my prior knowledge of ventilators which I acquired as an respiratory therapist, and assisted my attendings in the ICU management for critical patients, as well patients with PNA, COPD, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Sleep Apnea, Obesity Hypo-ventilation Syndrome, and Pulmonary Hypertension. In 2016 I worked at Sanford, Florida in Central Florida Regional where I now specialize in trauma surgery. During my time there I assisted in the management of trauma patients as well as partake in trauma alerts. In 2021 I began working with Health first in acute care surgery covering Cape Canaveral and Viera Hospital. My skill set also includes central line placement, tunneled dialysis & port-a-cath removal, I&D of abscesses, wound care, laceration repairs, second assisting in the OR. I am also certified in assisting with the DiVinici for general surgery cases.
