I am a full-time student at the University of Houston, majoring in Accounting while working part-time looking for an internship to learn and gain experience in the accounting or finance field. I have about four years in customer services and I recently got promoted to a Notary/Fieldprint Associate while still taking on the jobs of my previous Sales Associate role at The UPS Store. I have also been working a family ran business for about seven years which usually takes place every other weekend, bar tendering. I have an Associate of Arts in Business degree from Houston Community College, which is where I chose to pursuit the Accounting path after learning about all the different majors. Initially I was leaning on going into Finance but decided against after I spoke to advisors and did some research, and although arguably more difficult, Accounting seemed like a path that would suit me better and I would enjoy more. Now I currently a Senior and I'm expecting to graduate by December of 2024 with hopefully one or two internships that will help me land a job.
