I lead, designed, and consolidated an experimental protocol for the extraction of dietary soluble fiber from byproducts generated by Tequila manufacturers. This was achieved by implementing techniques of solid-liquid extraction, gel and fine layer chromatography for quantification and statistical analysis tools for validation of the experimental protocol. As a team we managed to develop an early-stage functional ingredient.
