My role as a co-owner is not just limited to co-management but also with tasks that requires technical skills. Being very hands on with my business, my focus has been on every aspect of running it which includes research and development of new menu every 3 months; brand marketing through word of mouth, social media platforms, and events; and customer servicing.

During my experience in Bake N' Bacon, I have been entrusted with preparing and servicing all food items according to Bake N Bacon's recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation of all food items, maintaining of daily mis-en-place, ensuring freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock, inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices, ensuring that food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, monitoring related equipment, reporting any problems or inconsistencies to the Kitchen Manager, assuming responsibilities of the Kitchen Manager in their absence.

With Discovery Primea, I am mainly focused on preparing and servicing all food items according to the production standards established by the Executive Chef, maintaining daily mis-en-place and prepares certain food items for the following days duties, being able to work in all areas of the kitchen such as hot & cold line, Garde Manger and Banquet kitchen, ensuring freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock, inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices, ensuring food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, monitoring related equipment, reporting any problems or inconsistencies to the Sous Chef, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
