- Report to the R&D (Research & Development) and Sustainability Director;- In charge of integrating four (4) business divisions (i.e. Dairy, Waters, Early Life Nutrition and Specialized Nutrition) into sustainability and social responsibility matters, by unifying the full business strategy, government relations and innovative projects;- Build a strategy aimed to design and carry out social innovation programs, by boosting projects focused on micro-distribution, sustainable supply and recycling, and ensuring the connection between the business and the involved stakeholders’ social priorities, in full consonance with the associated Balanced Scorecard (BSC);- Draw up and launch the “Nature” program consisting of a long-term vision driven by the business’ relevant matters i.e. water, climate change, sustainable farming and eco-design;- Liaise with the global team for sharing reports and investment plans for the sustainability project area;- Devise, start up and manage the strategic sustainability process (i.e. strategic plan, diagnosis of partnerships, sectoral agreements, governmental relations, private and public institutions, NGOs);- Manage and raise funds for private social investments by means of business’ own resources and funding from the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), Incentive Laws and other sources;- Manage the company’s relationship with stakeholders, by serving as a spokesperson with both the Press and the local community, arbitrating partnerships and sponsorships, and liaising with professional associations, NGOs and public authorities.

- Provide support to the Refinery’s maintenance team by deploying the company's global programs in Lean Manufacturing and EHS;- In charge of kicking off and leading the ABS (Alcoa Business System) Continuous Improvement System Management Program for standardizing and managing ABS quality tools (i.e. Kaizen Methodology, Balanced Scorecard, Help Chain, Daily Management, Autonomous Maintenance, PDCA, Task Force and 5Ss) with focus on carrying out labor productivity studies related to both Alcoa and contractors;- Perform as Cross Audit Coordinator: Integrated Management System (ISO 14001 and 9001, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000), Alcoa Self-Assessment Tool (ASAT), Continuous Self-Assessment System (SCAAV));- Plan and coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) assignments, by dealing with government and regulatory bodies;- Assess, review and write the department’s reports such as the Annual Activity Report, the GHG Protocol Program data and other related ones.
