I am a experienced Systems Administrator with broad knowledge of multiple platforms. My strong points are Networking (VPN, routing, switching), VoIP and Linux server administration, but i am also pretty comfortable with Microsoft environments.Also have experience implementing and managing different flavours of virtualization platforms (KVM, Hyper-V), authentication platforms (Active Directory, FreeIPA, vanilla OpenLDAP), Linux-based VPN (OpenVPN, Strongswan), web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS), databases (MySQL.MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Firebird), SAN (HP EVA/MSA, Hitachi HUS/VSA), load balancers (HAProxy), clustering (Corosync/Pacemaker/LUCY), email (Zimbra, vanilla Postfix-Dovecot-Cyrus) and some network services (NFS, Samba, GlusterFS).During my time working on different businesses, i learned some web frameworks. While not very proficient, i can read code in projects and try to find solutions to problems. I know how to create applications and REST interfaces in Django (Python), Ruby on Rails (Ruby), Jersey (Java), Symfony and Laravel (PHP). On the mobile side, only Apache Cordova with some VueJS and Patternfly, with the build pipeline implemented in Linux.My experience with DevOps is implementing production loads in IaaS providers like Platform.sh, linking private GitHub repositories to the build pipeline, and a personal Buildbot instance for personal projects, and on premises using Docker, Portainer and Github. I am becoming proficient in Kubernetes and the underlying infrastructure (Istio, etcd, CoreDNS), its observability toolchain (Prometheus, Thanos) and some automation using Ansible (deploying infrastructure on public clouds and automating daily tasks), Terraform/OpenTF and network automation with Netmiko, NAPALM, nornir and Netbox.I'm trying to become accustomed to move web applications to containers written in different languages and frameworks (Python, PHP, C#, Java, Javascript).I can implement and manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, and other VPC providers like Linode and Digital Ocean.
