Provide excellent care to patients and their friends and family. I work in the float pool and have experience working in many of the departments that are in the hospital. I assist nurses using the scope of my skills as a nursing assistant I including taking vitals, weights, measuring glucose levels, maintaining a safe environment for the patients, and feeding.

Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Jeff DanglStudied the bacterial community associated with pants roots. The focus was on bacteria that have the capacity to colonize the inside of plant roots that would enable services to its hosts such as nutrient acquisition that would promote plant health. Strains were identified using full genome shotgun sequencing. Bacteria were examined to understand its influences on plant hosts under different conditions including bacterial communities, temperature, nutrients, etc.

Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Ann MatthysseFocused on the effects of specific genes that influence the root colonization of Agrobacterium tumefaciens, strain C58. Genes were mutated and its results were analyzed using assays including staining and microscopy assays.
