I, José Jaime Cofiño, have been diagnosed with ALS, a deadly disease with no known cause, no treatment and no cure. Beyond ALS refers to seeing people with ALS as being more than the disease and in focusing on a time when research will take us beyond ALS. I am now dedicating most of my time to this effort.
