    Started as the owner of the real-time analytics platform at this start-up based in Seattle (US). Bevyup offers application services to major online retailers worldwide. My mission initially consisted in understanding the existing batch-oriented reporting solution, its limitations, and re-thinking it from the ground up. My designs and recommendations laid the foundation of a scalable and cost effective analytics platform for the intake and processing of ~15M telemetry events the Bevyup platform receives per day through their partners. Solutions piloted and evaluated included: MapReduce jobs, Apache Spark with Scala, Twitter Storm, Azure HDInsights, custom .NET.Design and implementation of the activity feeds and sales attribution modules for a new mobile solution to be launched in one of the biggest retailer in the US. All this leverages the new analytics platform.Growing and leading the analytics and back-end team: coordinating the design and assignment of support and development tasks, code reviews, and mentoring.Leading the design and implementation of a microservices-based architecture powering the new set of services taking the BevyUp platform to the next level.
